摘要: Asymptotic forms, valid for high Hartmann number M, were obtained the mean velocity laminar magnetohydrodynamic flow in a rectangular tube. For tube with non-conducting walls it was found that, neglecting exponentially damped terms, can be expressed ciosed form terms of tabulated functions. The first three expansion inverse powers M are extremely close agreement corresponding by Shercliff using boundary-layer method. perfectly conducting five an obtained.
