摘要: The AdS/CFT correspondence allows us to map a dynamical cosmology dual quantum field theory living on the boundary of spacetime. Specifically, we study five-dimensional model in type IIB supergravity, where is an unstable deformation $\N=4$ supersymmetric SU(N) gauge $\Rbar\times S^3$. A one-loop computation shows that coupling governing instability asymptotically free, so corrections cannot turn potential around. big crunch singularity bulk occurs when scalar runs infinity, finite time. Consistent evolution requires impose conditions at infinite field, i.e. self-adjoint extension system. We find spreading homogeneous mode leads natural UV cutoff particle production as wavefunction for bounces back from infinity. However perturbative calculation indicates despite this, logarithmic running generally significant across bounce. This prevents wave packet return close its initial form. Translating theory, conclude transition bang improbable outcome cosmological this class models.
