摘要: Abstract This study is the fifth part of a series on Gerromorpha from Egypt. It includes taxonomie review family Veliidae that was recorded Egypt with references to their habitats and distribution. Two genera: Microvelia Westwood & Rhagovelia Mayr 6 species: M. gracillima Reuter; popovi Brown; macani pygmaea (Dufour); waelbroecki Kirkaldy R. nigricans (Burmeister) are confirmed Brown Africa for first time. Keys identification subfamilies, genera all species given. Illustrations, scanning electron micro-photographs provided.
