摘要: Delayed cardiac tamponade after a penetrating chest injury is rare complication. The clinical diagnosis of facilitated with imaging. We present case report 23-year-old male who was brought to emergency multiple stab wounds the chest. After resuscitation and repair laceration right internal mammary artery ventricle, he discharged but later returned shortness breath. Echocardiography revealed delayed pericardial causing left ventricular collapse. effusion treated emergent pericardiocentesis required thoracoscopy guided window for definitive management.
