摘要: Abstract Detailed experimental studies have been made on the angular and energy distributions of long-range α-particles (LRA) emitted from 252 Cf during spontaneous fission. They show that α-particle distribution is peaked at an angle (made by trajectory with either main fragments) about 90° has a FWHM 20–30. The spectrum 15 MeV 13 MeV. We carried out computer calculations trajectories three particles produced in LRA Such lead to predictions which may be compared ones. were using set initial conditions determined statistical theory nuclear comparison results therefore provides test theory. calculated leads good agreement one, reasonable between obtained if it assumed within short period time, order 3 × 10 −22 s after instant scission.
