摘要: This paper analyzes the effect of STATCOM on improvement Fault Ride Through (FRT) capability fixed speed wind turbines(FSWTs). The steady-state models farm components, such as induction generator, capacitor bank, and STATCOM, are developed based simplified equivalent circuit. Especially, is modeled a controllable current source method that analytically determines magnitude injection developed. For quasi-steady-state(QSS) analysis, model generator merged with dynamic drive train. QSS simulation shows can enhance FRT performance by improving characteristics FSWTs.
