摘要: Abstract Recently accumulated evidence emphasizes the role of coherent, quasi-ordered structures in transport processes a turbulent shear flow. Statistically, presence these is manifested as intermittency signals fluctuating quantities leading to departures from gaussianity. This paper presents results conventional statistical analysis velocity and temperature fluctuations wall layers channel The indicate at least two intermittent phases—inrushes towards ejections outwards—superimposed on background turbulence. A conditional sampling averaging technique, aiming detection phases, presented. demonstrate that evolution probability density distributions could well be explained by behavior phases.
