摘要: Large IT organizations exchange their computer infrastructure on a regular time basis. When planning such an environment exchange, it is required to explicitly consider the impact Quality-of-Service of applications avoid violations Service Level Agreements. In current practice, however, using explicit performance models for estimations frequently avoided due scepticism towards practical usability and benefits complex environments. this paper, we present real-world case study demonstrate that queuing model-based approach can be effectively used predict when migrating new in industrial context. We first general modeling methodology explain how apply system migration scenarios. Then, show used. The planned System z running large scale banking application. Finally, validate after has been migrated, evaluate prediction accuracy, discuss possible limitations. Overall, measurements very high agreement with results.
