摘要: Abstract The requirements of the Texas State Implementation Plan U.S. Clean Air Act for Houston-Galveston Ozone Nonattainment Area stipulate large reductions in oxides nitrogen (NOx ) emissions. A number sources at Dow Chemical Co. sites within nonattainment area may require addition continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS) online analysis NOx , CO, and O2 . At outset this work, it was not known whether analyzers could accurately measure as low 2 ppm. Therefore, CEMS from five different companies were evaluated their ability to reliably 2–20 ppm range. Testing performed with a laboratory apparatus that simulated mixtures flue gas and, on limited basis, dual-train sampling system turbine. results indicate method is reasonable approach analyzer testing reveal important technical performance aspects accurate measurements.
