摘要: A system and method for controlling the delivery of power to a powered device in Power over Ethernet Broad Reach (PoE-BR) application. Cabling loss PoE-BR application is related resistance cable itself. PHY can be designed measure electrical characteristics (e.g., insertion loss, cross talk, length, etc.) enable determination resistance. The determined broad reach used increasing budget allocated source equipment port.
