摘要: Intellectual property protection, globalization, and pressure on public budgets in many industrialized countries have shifted the balance of plant breeding activity from to private sector. Several economic factors influence relative shares versus sector activity, with varying results over time, country, crop. The sector, for example, dominates corn throughout world, but activities wheat differ widely Western Europe, different regions United States, Canada, Australia.
