摘要: We propose that a nova shell ejected from recurrent progenitor system created the evacuated region around explosion center of SN 2002ic. In this picture, periodic ejections due to explosions on white dwarf sweep up slow wind binary companion, creating density variations and instabilities lead structure in circumstellar medium (CSM). Our model naturally explains observed gap between supernova CSM 2002ic, accounts for CSM, resolves coincidence problem timing 2002ic with respect apparent cessation mass loss system. also consider such outburst sweeping as generic feature Type Ia supernovae progenitors.
