摘要: Prediction error signals have been reported in human imaging studies target areas of dopamine neurons such as ventral and dorsal striatum during learning with many different types reinforcers. However, a key question that has yet to be addressed is whether prediction recruit distinct or overlapping regions elsewhere reward. To address this, we scanned 17 healthy subjects functional magnetic resonance while they chose actions obtain either pleasant juice reward (1 ml apple juice), monetary gain (5 cents) applied computational reinforcement model subjects' behavioral data. Evidence for an signal money rewards was found region (caudate nucleus), subregion were significantly stronger but not These results provide evidence partially appetitive reinforcers within the striatum, finding important implications understanding nature associative encoding function reinforcer type.
