摘要: Developed at Colorado State University, CASC2D-SED is a physically-based model simulating the hydrologic response of watershed to distributed rainfall field. The time-dependent processes include:precipitation, interception, infiltration, surface runoff and channel routing, upland erosion, transport sedimentation. applied Goodwin Creek, Mississippi. covers 21 km2and has been extensively monitored both outlet several internal locations by ARS-NSL Oxford, MS. calibrated validated using data from 16 meteorological stations, 6 stream gauging stations sediment stations. Sediment erosion/deposition rates size fraction are predicted in space time. Geovisualization, powerful exploration technique based on GIS technology, used analyze display dynamic output time series generated model.
