摘要: Genetically modified non-human animals expressing human EPO from the animal genome are provided. Also provided methods for making genome, and using genome. These find many uses in art, including, example, modeling erythropoiesis erythrocyte function; pathogen infection of erythrocytes; vivo screens agents that modulate and/or function, e.g. a healthy or diseased state; toxic to erythrocytes progenitors; prevent against, mitigate, reverse effects on progenitors an individual predict responsiveness disease therapy.
