摘要: We report on a search for short-period binary systems composed of pairs evolved stars. The is being carried out concurrently with program to characterize the kinematical properties two different samples Each sample has produced one close candidate which further spectroscopic observations are planned. also recapitulate discovery detached system cool DA white dwarfs, and we discuss null results Ha suspected dwarf/brown dwarf G 29–38.
