摘要: Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) have attractive electrical and physical properties, which make them very promising for use in various applications. For some applications however, particular those involving electronics, SWCNTs need to be synthesized with a high degree of control respect yield, length, alignment, diameter, chirality. With this mind, great deal effort is being directed the precision vertically horizontally aligned nanotubes. In review focus on latter, tubes grown by chemical vapor deposition (CVD). The reader provided an in-depth established orientation techniques. Detailed discussions characterization routes, growth parameters, mechanisms are also provided.
