Experimental investigation and CFD modeling of the dynamics of bubbles in nanofluid pool boiling

摘要: This work investigated the dynamics of bubbles in pool boiling nanofluid with coated and sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) solution different nanoparticles. Also, computational fluid (CFD) module was used for mathematical modeling pure water boiling. Different macroscale parameters such as: shapes, numbers contact angle also were experimentally verified by CFD results. Porous layers nanoparticles on stainless steel substrate conjunction SDS additions shown to modify formation comparison reference condition. Improvement surface hydrophilic conditions performance observed Multi-wall Carbon Nanotube (MWCNT) porous layers, spite CuO Al2O3 (γ) based nanofluid. Growth time changes presence surfactant which resulted from change tension force. Number increased MWCNT decreased boiling. Results showed comprehensive bubble wettability layer solution.
