摘要: Immunization against insulin, insulin B chain, or chain peptide B(9-23) (preproinsulin II(33-47)) prevents diabetes in the nonobese diabetic (NOD) mouse. Whether not II(33-47) is only proinsulin determinant recognized by CD4 T cells remains unclear. Using two libraries spanning entire sequence of preproinsulin I and II, respectively, we identified specific for four epitopes within islet cell infiltrate prediabetic female NOD mice. These were among immunogenic to which a response was detected after immunization mice with individual peptides CFA. Immunogenic found on both isoforms especially isoform expressed thymus.
