摘要: The Cameroon Hot Line (CHL) is an active N30°E tectono-magmatic alignment, extending from Pagalu Island to Lake Chad. Its oceanic sector comprised of six major volcanoes, and the continental seven numerous monogenic cones more than sixty plutonic anorogenic ring complexes. lavas rocks have typical mineralogy alkaline series. Nephelinites lamprophyres are also present. basalts sectors similar trace elements Sr Nd isotope compositions, attesting that source sublithospheric crust plays no significant role in magma genesis. Uncommon intermediate originate through mixing between basaltic felsic magmas. evolution phonolitic magmas explained crystal fractionation. Compositions most trachytes rhyolites require a crustal component. Metasomatism carbonatitic affinity affected lithospheric mantle during ascent. DM FOZO components were involved genesis CHL parental
