Microstructure and mechanical property of Cu2O–Cu cermet prepared by in-situ reduction-hot pressing method

摘要: Abstract Cu 2 O–Cu cermets were prepared by a novel method, hot pressing mixed C and O powders, in which the conductor was produced reaction between (called as in-situ reduction-hot method presented IRHP). Phase microstructures of characterized X-ray diffraction, optical microscope, scanning electron microscope. XRD analysis showed that only consist phases. Microstructural characterization distribution phase is homogeneous throughout matrix. The mechanical properties measured under universal tester, compressive strength with same content 1.5 times higher than samples powders directly HP).
