摘要: The positive effects of shared book reading on vocabulary and development are well attested (e.g., Bus, van Ijzendoorn, & Pellegrini, 1995). However, the role in grammatical remains unclear. In this study, we conducted a construction-based analysis caregivers' child-directed speech during toy play compared profile generated two activities. findings indicate that (a) by contains significantly more grammatically rich constructions than play, (b) itself affects reading.
