摘要: Background The EURObservational Research Programme is a rolling programme of cardiovascular registries and surveys the European Society Cardiology (ESC). These will provide information on nature disease its management. This manuscript provides an update new literature peripartum cardiomyopathy (PPCM), published since 2010 Position Statement from Heart Failure Association Working Group PPCM, describes registry this under-recognized condition. Peripartum idiopathic presenting with heart failure secondary to left ventricular systolic dysfunction towards end pregnancy, or in months following delivery, where no other cause for found. Aims PPCM Registry aims describe presentation, comorbidities, diagnostic therapeutic management patients as well their offspring. Centres not only ESC ESC-affiliated countries, but around world, are encouraged participate. Methods A prospective PPCM. At time writing, approximately 100 have been enrolled 20 countries. All data entry online via secure passwords supported by well-trained technology personnel. Conclusion allow comparison women different ethnic backgrounds, report 6 month 12 outcomes. study include 1000 follow them 1 year. New centres volunteering participate be welcomed.
