摘要: Rationale: Apelin, a potent vasodilator and angiogenic factor, may be novel therapeutic agent in neonatal chronic lung disease, including bronchopulmonary dysplasia.Objectives: To determine the beneficial effect of apelin rats with hyperoxia-induced injury, model for premature infants dysplasia.Methods: The cardiopulmonary effects treatment (62 μg/kg/d) were studied by exposure to 100% oxygen, using two strategies: early concurrent during continuous hyperoxia 10 days late recovery which was started on Day 6 after hyperoxic injury 9 continued 9-day period.
