摘要: The threaded end of a concrete reinforcement bar is enlarged in diameter so that the thread bottom exceeds surface ribs rebar. A coupler sleeve can then be advanced past threading and over rib area, until rebar protrudes from sleeve. This allows splicing two rebars without axially turning either Alternatively, does not exceed maximum deformations but an immediately adjacent segment flattened removing material to preserve net cross-sectional area maintain tensile strength pilot nose reduced leads portion into female facilitate alignment support free standing on coupling before engaging threads.
