Supportive techniques: are they found in different therapies?

摘要: Therapists of different persuasions use various techniques. Although many these techniques are specific to their theory treatment, others practiced in common among forms psychotherapy. Many have been previously described, but supportive largely ignored. The authors distinguish between the and therapeutic alliance. Using Luborsky's definition techniques, they examine empirical literature on therapies. They conclude that often used psychotherapy or counseling.
