摘要: Energy used in buildings is responsible for more than 40% of energy consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions the EU their share cost-efficient GHG mitigation potentials estimated to be even higher. In spite its huge savings potential up 80%, achievements are very slow building sector much stronger political action seems needed. One important step this direction has been recast Performance Buildings Directive (EPBD) autumn 2009. However, strong national implementation including powerful packages flanking measures crucial really make significant progress field. order directly improve action, we provide a differentiated country-by-country bottom simulation residential whole EU, Norway, Iceland, Croatia Liechtenstein. The analysis provides database stock by construction periods, types, as well typical sizes. It includes thermal quality costs components shell new refurbishment existing stock. Based on analysis, show detail what would needed accelerate precise estimate targeted particular policies. We demonstrate, e.g. that codes set via EPBD located mainly those countries already have quite stringent place. high relevance accelerating refurbishments re-investment cycles buildings.
