摘要: Preform design is an essential stage in forging especially for parts with complex shapes. In this paper, based on the evolutionary structural optimisation (ESO) concept, a topological method developed preform design. method, new criterion element elimination and addition workpiece boundary surfaces proposed to optimise material distribution. To improve quality of after elimination, smoothing technique using B-spline curve approximation. The methods are programmed C# code integrated DEFORM 2D software package. Two case problems including aerofoil shape rail wheel evaluated method. results suggest that topology efficient approach optimisation.
