摘要: An effort is made to evaluate the performance of an atmosphere–ocean coupled regional model in simulating Indian summer monsoon rainfall during years 1995–2015. The RegCM and MITgcm models are taken as atmospheric oceanic components model, respectively. It found that coupling helps improve SST Arabian Sea Bay Bengal regions domain. air–sea also improves wind speed simulation. RegCM-MITgcm correctly represents intraseasonal variability compared stand-alone model. shown very high extreme intensity events simulated by whereas underestimates precipitation intensities. argued increase predictability skill rainfall. For example, limit obtained from (22 days) closer IMD observation (24 days). corresponding 20 days.
