摘要: During the last three decades, governments of different countries globally have adopted authoritarian policies to confront criminal phenomena, which they regard as particularly dangerous (such terrorism and narco-trafficking). Governments’ actions consolidated a penal culture whereupon order security are invoked not only limit human rights but also push economic social justice into background. Thus, regarded precondition for development welfare. Often, analyses coming from global North do consider such particularities when assessing complex phenomena. This chapter discusses transformations that Colombian crime control field has experienced during where context-specific phenomena contributed expansion consolidation repressive exclusionary culture.
