摘要: Objective: To evaluate the relationship between ownership structure of hospitals and possibility their being positioned on frontier technical efficiency in economic crisis period 2010-2012, adjusting for hospital variables regional characteristics areas where Spanish National Health System (SNHS) are located. Methods: 230 were studied over two-year 2010-2012 according to structure-public hospitals, private public-private partnership (PPP)-data envelopment analysis orientated inputs was used measure overall efficiency, pure scale. A generalised linear mixed model (GLMM) with binomial distribution logit link function analyse associated positioning frontier. Results: There substantial differences average public, PPP as well a greater number models (91.67% 2012). The odds 41.7 times higher than public hospitals. annual household income per region is related efficiency. Conclusions: During most acute recession economy, formulas favoured by increasing when compared position wealth its region.
