摘要: Experimental endocrinologists criticise the concept of a mosaic-like representation hypothalamic functions (see Szentagothai et al., 1968). In contrast to rigid cytoarchitectonic scheme al. (1968) distinguish between “hypo-physiotropic, releasing factors system” and “release regulating system”. Substances responsible for basic gonadotropin release are available in all parts hypophysiotropic area including arcuate nucleus. Under these circumstances classical divisions hypothalamus appear be only limited value. However, more general type action does not exclude clear-cut wiring diagram single anatomical units. According Cross (1973): “It may that many interneurons programmed highly specific ways ...”. “Each cell indeed unique its connectivities sensitivities”.
