摘要: In this study, the transport behavior of colloids through compacted bentonite and sand-bentonite mixtures was investigated. Colloidal gold used to simulate mobile because it well characterized its dispersivity controlled. The a sodium bentonite. were prepared by mixing up 50wt.% silica sand with dry densities 1000 1800 kg/m3 then saturated distilled water. mixture also synthetic sea-water. Column experiments performed investigate colloidal transport. Further, particles stabilities in high ionic strength water such as porewater or saline groundwater interpreted based on repulsion potential from double layer force attraction van der Waals force. results indicated that effectively filtered both mixtures. This study effect radionuclide is negligible for safety assessment level radioactive waste (HLW) disposal.
