摘要: Malignant biliary obstruction (MBO) encompasses a variety of malignancies arising from the pancreaticobiliary system. This can be divided into malignant hilar (MHBO) or distal (MDBO) to which clinical outcomes and technical considerations various drainage methods may differ. EUS (EUS-BD) has been increasingly influential in management MBO together with other familiar such as ERCP percutaneous transhepatic (PTBD). Conventionally, always primary choice endoscopic both MHBO MDBO that PTBD EUS-BD is used salvage method when fails for current guidelines recommends PTBD, especially MHBO. review was able show today's evidence, equally efficacious possesses better safety profile should on forefront drainage. Therefore, could either preferred these cases.
