摘要: Mesoscopic interference effects in multiple scattering of photons depend crucially on the internal structure scatterers. In present paper, we develop analytical theory photon by cold atoms with arbitrary hyperfine multiplets. For a specific application, calculate enhancement factor elastic coherent backscattering as function detuning from an entire multiplet neighboring resonances that cannot be considered isolated. Our permits one to understand why behave differently classical Rayleigh point-dipole scatterers, and how description is recovered for larger but still microscopic objects like molecules or clusters.
