摘要: Abstract As the problem of spam email increases, we examined users’ attitudes toward and experience with as a function gender age. College-age, working-age, retirement-age men women were surveyed. Most respondents strongly disliked receiving yet took few actions against it. There fewer differences than predicted, but age was significant predictor several responses. Retirement rated themselves significantly lower in expertise did working men, oldest youngest groups spam, used computer less often, spent hours online respondents. Older more likely younger ones to report making purchase result received same amount other spite overall use computer. The results suggest both that older users may be vulnerable usability for all threatened by inability effectively take action spam.
