摘要: This case report describes the diagnosis and surgical treatment of unilateral polydactylism unknown origin in a calf. A six-week-old female German Holstein-Friesian calf was referred to clinic with hyperflexion fetlock carpal joints right forelimb, associated two surplus digits same leg, which confirmed by radiographic examination. Surgery consisted an osteotomy second metacarpal bone, disarticulation antebrachiocarpal joint additional limb combined amputation both odd digits. The follow-up 12 months revealed functionally sound heifer showing good cosmetic outcome.
