摘要: Transition from a Townsend mode to normal glow has been reported in the literature for uniform dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) at atmospheric pressure. In this paper, through one-dimensional fluid model, more modes of DBD helium and transitions between them are found with varying rising time saw-tooth voltage. The results indicate that positive initiates positive-slope voltage phase, whose pulse duration decreases, while peak value increases decreasing time. During process, negative initiating negative-slope phase keeps weakening almost zero current. predominant is then investigated analyzing spatial distributions electron density, ion electric field current moment. combination voltage-current curve, revealed transit Townsend, glow, an abnormal These qualitatively explained by gap density averaged just before initiation. also suggest reducing or increasing amplitude, prone operate mode.
