摘要: this paper we propose an efficient location management strategy called the profile#based two#level pointer forwarding cache scheme to improve overall performance of wireless mobile networks. It uses twolevel for update and profilebased call delivery. Loca tion each Mobile Terminal (MT) is managed by nearby Visitor Location Register (VLR) until it crosses threshold number movements between Registration Areas (RAs). This reduces frequency accessing remote Home (HLR) which eventually minimizes cost distributing its work. On other hand, a profile MT's calling pattern maintained in HLR copied VLR caches from where majority calls are generated. These searched first find out order deliver call. delivery will be reduced if information found since does not have access searching information. The analytical modeling numerical results show that proposed method outperforms all previous methods terms network signaling traffic load irrespective MTs' mobility pattern. Switching Center (MSC) MTs wirelesscon nected these BTS. Sometimes may colocate with MSC group RAs interfaced Local Signaling Transfer Point (LSTP) following HLR.
