摘要: Abstract Low temperature measurements of specific heat, thermal conductivity, dielectric dispersion, ultrasonic dispersion and other properties have disclosed that a variety disordered crystals exhibit the same anomalous behavior as found in amorphous solids. The anomalies arise from localized excitations having broad spectra both energy equilibration time. In some crystals, these may be changed systematically by varying disorder present. physical origin excitations, or glasses, lacks satisfactory theoretical explanation. It is expected crystalline systems will more amenable to study. solids harbor include, at this time, certain fast-ion conductors, ferroelectrics, metallic alloys, rotationally
