摘要: The red king crab, Paralithodes camtschaticus, was intentionally transferred from Russian territorial waters in the Northern Pacific Ocean and introduced into Barents Sea between 1961 1969 order to create a new commercial fishery. A decade later reproducing population found be well established latter region. crab has since dispersed southwards along coast of Norway. Its ecological impacts on native fauna have been investigated. From 2002 till 2007 management fishery undertaken jointly by Norway Russia. Since then, continued within countries respective zones Sea. In 2004 given free rein apply all necessary methods limit spread westwards 26°E longitude.
