摘要: This study examined whether signs of secondary traumatic stress were present in a community sample couples who experienced World War II. The authors hypothesized that symptoms posttraumatic disorder (PTSD) either spouse may be predicted not only by his or her own war experiences but also the and partner. Approximately 50 years after end II, 444 from elderly Dutch citizens answered questionnaire. A multilevel regression analysis was performed with PTSD as dependent variable. most important predictors number events reported participant current level spouse. results lend empirical support to notion reactions both members couple are independent each other.
