摘要: In this study we illustrate the potential contribution of digital archives to variation among Taiwan’s Waishengren. Using archive ThakBong gravesites in Taiwan, into which census data 1956 have been merged, show that Waishengren varied their practices and social structure from North South through time yet unobserved patterns. Our interpretation is assimilated potentially even merged existing Holo communities South, while North, developed distinctions these reflect power ethnicity. Regional will thus be central future Waishengren-studies.
