摘要: The existence of BAL outflows in only radio-quiet QSOs was thought to be an important clue mass ejection and the radio-loud - dichotomy. Recently a few have been discovered at high redshift. We present evidence that PKS 1004+13 is QSO. It would first known low-redshift (z = 0.24), one most radio luminous. For 1004+13, there appear broad absorption troughs O VI, N V, Si IV, C indicating high-ionization up about 10,000 km/s. There are also two strong, (~500 km/s), high-ionization, associated systems show partial covering continuum source. strong UV we detected suggests extreme soft-X-ray weakness primarily result absorption. large radio-lobe dominance indicates gas inclinations central engine axis, perhaps line-of-sight passes through accretion disk wind.
