Myeloid sarcoma: a report of four cases at unusual sites.

摘要: Background: Myeloid sarcoma (MS) or granulocytic is a rare tumor consisting of myeloid blasts with without maturation occurring at anatomic sites other than the bone marrow. MS can involve any organ system but shows predilection for skin, bone, and soft tissues head neck region. Case report: We report four cases unusual sites, out which three were de novo one was associated acute leukemia (AML). Conclusion: Although AML, it rarely present existent hematologic disease. Differential diagnosis tissue mass should include even in absence leukemia. Establishment correct depends on morphologic, histochemical, immunohistochemical examination.
