摘要: Attenuated vaccinia viruses (VV) selectively replicate in malignant cells and confer oncolytic effect vivo. Here we demonstrate that VV may also be used as a diagnostic agent for tumor-bearing mice. A series of re- combinant has been constructed expressing optical reporters to mediate emission bioluminescent fluorescent light which can visualized. Data show following systemic virus delivery the developing tumors non-invasively visualized mice Renilla luciferase Aquoria GFP have effective imaging xenografted PC-3 prostate orthotopic MB-49 bladder tumors. Brighter reporters, Gaussia TRAMP cancer C6 subcutaneous model glioma. The data corroborated by traditional MRI. We are VV-mediated system tumor detection far red or near infra light. Results suggest is promising alternative early diagnosis various human cancers.
