摘要: Natural halloysite clay nanotubes with 50 nm outer- and 15 inner- diameters are described as miniature vehicles for sustained release of drugs proteins. The time may be adjusted from 10 to 200 h the tube surface polymeric coating. An explanation through locking electrical potential at nanotube ends is suggested. These biocompatible ceramic tubes also used architectural construction nanoshells on microbes alternation polycations enhance intrinsic properties biological cells. Halloysite (pristine or drug-loaded) well mixable polar low-polar polymers allowing functional biocomposites enhanced mechanical strength, adhesivity slow other chemical agents. nontoxic abundantly available natural deposit material which does not require exfoliation complicated energy consuming processing.
