摘要: Colostrum management is the single most important factor in determining calf health and survival. Unfortunately, a significant proportion of North American dairy calves suffer from failure passive transfer antibodies colostrum, contributing to excessively high preweaning mortality rates other short- long-term losses associated with animal health, welfare, productivity. A successful colostrum program requires producers consistently provide sufficient volume clean, high-quality within first few hours life. This article reviews process colostrogenesis discusses components colostrum. The key delivering monitoring are discussed.
