摘要: Abstract This study examines the narratives of 15 youth workers on their experiences with service provision for homeless and street-involved youth. Workers discussed a need to have versatile approach which can be tailored an individual youth's circumstances. Establishing connection based upon valuing, respecting, liking allows development trusting relationship is essential effective interventions. Also addressed was social context this work including relationships among staff, agency structure, impact stigmatization homelessness. Lastly, process becoming worker addressed, establishment clear boundaries, recognizing rewarding aspects work, avoiding burnout.
