摘要: The chemical degradation of the endocrine disrupting chemical, butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), was investigated by different treatment processes including ultraviolet (UV) irradiation, ozonation (O3), and UV/O3. O demethylation, dimerization, oxidation have been found to be main mechanisms. A systematic decay pathway proposed based on ten identified intermediates in studied processes, a unique leading formation precipitates process. An unconventional minimum-type variation BHA rate constants from acidic caustic range has for both UV/O3 processes. formed during can removed process optimize treatment, while offer relatively fast clean degrade its associated intermediates.
